DISCUSSION TEXTS
CRITO
Students learn to think well for themselves by discussing accessible philosophical texts. In 2022, they’ll discuss Plat'o’s dialogue in which Socrates considers whether integrity or safety is more important, even in the face of death.
Whip-smart

Super-kind
Mentors treat each student with incredible dignity, compassion, and care. They’re good listeners and sensitive advisors.
Prayerful
Mentors are devoted to prayer, and eager to help students become prayerful too. They’re honest about struggles with prayer, and confident in its power.
Resilient
Mentors know what it means to be faithful during pain, doubt, or adversity. Their faith is enduring, never fake.
Humble
Mentors don’t make it about themselves or their ideas. They don’t depend on their charisma, but on their God and his church.
